Newspapers and Magazines that help support my thesis.!

The two newspapers......
The filth of an illegal drug den
This newspaper article is about how drugs are made in dirty laboratories and then it is sold to the millions of drug   users all around the world. People would then get ill due to these filthy surroundings in which something that is put in there mouth is made. Basically, this article is just trying to show and tell people how much worse  are than it already is.

WAR ON DRUGS
An article about how ''Drugs kill people, they rip families apart.'' Photo: GENE RAMIREZWAR ON DRUGS. This is very important to mankind because if so many people continue to use drugs as much as they do today many people would die much quicker than they are suppose to. Many important facilities and groups are working hard to put an end to this huge and important factor in today's society.
The two magazines....
Drugs: The Rebellion in Cartagena.
An article telling many readers about how the government in certain states are going to legalize the usage of drugs. Instead of trying to put an end to the usage of drugs in these certain states they think that it is fine to sell and have millions of people use drugs.

Stopping smoking.
This magazine article is about how people are going to try to put an end to smoking once and for all. If smoking is stopped, then society would change for the better.

The outcome of my interview and the input of the others to come!

1. What did we learn in our interviews?
2. Who are we going to interview next and why?

The outcome of my previous interview was a success. There were issues that were brought up that I didn't even know about (the teenager that was used to catch a bigger drug user) and that encouraged me to look at all of the different aspects concerning drugs. However, throughout my interview I learned that more people tend to use drugs than I had imagined and it is an important and serious issue that needs to be addressed in our society immediately. A vast amount of people spend their time doing unnecessary, harmful and effective things(do drugs) instead of doing something more productive in their lives. Due to this, I would then be encouraged to interview someone that has actually use and interact with drugs to see their perspective on things. The reason for taking a different path to interview a drug user is to understand why they started using drugs and if it helps them through the rough and difficult times in their lives. Overall, it would be good if I can have an idea of the reason why drugs users use drugs in our society.

The questions that I asked in my interview

1. How long have you been working as a cop?
Response: He has been working as a cop for 20 years, from 1981-2000

2. Throughout those 20 years, did you make any arrests concerning teenagers who use drugs?
Response: Yes he has, but it was toward the ending of his career he arrested a few teenagers; one in particular for a drug possession charge.

3.When you arrested them did you feel a certain type of way?
Response: He was worried and concerned because with that particular teenager, they used him to catch a bigger culprit and they them turned him into an informant. However, he thought that the bigger culprit was going to hurt the teenager  or take out revenge on him.

4. Seeing that you have a daughter so young, do you think that her friends are going to influence her in any type of way?
Response: Friends are a big influence on children especially teens. She should become friends with good students; also he is worried that his daughter would fall into the wrong crowd and lead her into taking or interacting with drugs. Just by talking and explaining drug use to her may help/encourage her to don't be apart of it.

5.Seeing that you have transition from a cop to a teacher, what do you do now to prevent students from using drugs?
Response: Teaches them lessons about drugs and the topic about prohibition laws and anti-drug laws are often brought up, then that causes an elaborate discussion to occur. He tries to steer the conversation toward teaching them about the dangers of interacting with drugs.

Hypothesis

Why do many people interact (use or sell) drugs?
What can we do to stop it or at least try to start to prevent it from happening?
-The interaction of drugs are mainly because people want to make money, want to be able to fit in, or they were probably pressured into doing it.
-All of these things are the cause of the frequent usage of drugs because this is what others look at and would like to be apart of.
-When one is seen in action, associating with drugs then others follow and that is how so many people do drugs today. People who have died from this, doesn't that have the urge to stop?
-Stop taking or selling drugs before it stops you from making something better of yourself. Every life is precious and once one is caught in action, others do the same and that starts a trend in this society.
-This kills you slowly, so why introduce it to others or use it at all?
-Make the difference and put an end to it all. Saving one life is much more important than selling drugs. Let's start please.

The Frequent Usage of Drugs.

Drugs are different types of illegal medicine that several people (mostly teenagers) use in today's society. The reason why I chose this topic is because people have to realize that the usage of drugs is very harmful to their bodies and it's secretly killing people one at a time. All types: cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, etc. are what many people are using in today's society and we need to put an end to this. Many people may not know it but your life may end sooner than you think just by using drugs.
